Volleyball Recap: Buena Has No Trouble Against Canyon Del Oro

Buena barely beat Canyon del Oro the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Colts were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dorados on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 on April 8th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-20.

Buena found their leader in sophomore Josiah Canales, who had 11 digs.

Buena has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-13 record this season. As for Canyon del Oro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-17 record this season.

Buena has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Sahuaro on the 30th. As for Canyon del Oro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Palo Verde on the 30th.
