It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Anthony Wayne can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Avon Eagles on Sunday. The Generals' defeat signaled the end of their 22-game winning streak.

Mallory Pike paced Anthony Wayne's offense, picking up 23 kills. Pike got some help from Leah Pike and her 24 assists.

Anthony Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 26-2. As for Avon, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-1.
