It was a good run, but Anthony Wayne unfortunately witnessed the end of their 22-match winning streak on Sunday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Avon Eagles. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Anthony Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 26-2. As for Avon, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 27-1.

As of now, neither Anthony Wayne nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
