Baseball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Mattanawcook, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Red Devils fell just short of the Lynx by a score of 7-5 on Wednesday. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Lynx recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mattanawcook, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Central is set to square off against their familiar foe Orono at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mattanawcook will challenge rival Houlton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
