Softball Recap: Petersburg Buffaloes vs. Borden County Coyotes
Petersburg and Borden County squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Petersburg had to settle for second. They lost 20-0 to the Borden County Coyotes. The matchup marked the first time this year in which Petersburg was not able to get on the board.
Petersburg's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Borden County, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Petersburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Borden County, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Electra. Electra's pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so Borden County's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
