Basketball Recap: Catholic Memorial's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Friday

With a playoff win on the line, Catholic Memorial rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 50-40 victory over North/Waukesha South. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while North/Waukesha South are ranked 321st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Catholic Memorial's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for North/Waukesha South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.
