Basketball Recap: Thomas Niedermaier Key Part of a Team Effort in Redhawks Win

After losing to Butler the last time they met, Parsippany decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Parsippany Redhawks skirted past the Butler Bulldogs 41-39.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parsippany to victory, but perhaps none more so than Thomas Niedermaier, who posted 12 points in addition to six boards and five steals. Another player making a difference was David Niedermaier, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds.

Parsippany now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Butler, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Parsippany and Midland Park will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Butler, they will welcome Hawthorne at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
