Softball Recap: Huntsville Takes a Loss

Huntsville managed to slip by Providence Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Huntsville Eagles lost 9-2 to the Providence Academy Patriots on Monday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2019.

Huntsville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Another was Kassidy Oberan, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

Huntsville is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Providence Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Huntsville will square off against West Fork at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Providence Academy, they will take on Life Way Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
