Baseball Recap: Central Regional Takes a Loss

Central Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Manasquan Warriors, falling 11-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 on Thursday.

Central Regional's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Manasquan, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Central Regional didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-2 win against New Egypt on the 26th. As for Manasquan, they have also already played their next game, an 11-0 defeat against Colts Neck on the 26th.
