Basketball Recap: Yarmouth Takes a Loss

If Yarmouth was riding high fresh off their 45-25 takedown of Cape Elizabeth last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yarmouth Clippers took a hard 56-37 fall against the Wells Warriors on Tuesday. The Clippers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Yarmouth has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Wells, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Yarmouth will head out on the road to square off against Medomak Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wells, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greely at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
