It's playoff time, and Calera had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Chilton County Tigers on Monday as the Calera Eagles made off with a 69-45 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Chilton County's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cayden Meank, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Brock Porter, who posted nine points in addition to six boards and three blocks.

Calera's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Chilton County, they dropped their record down to 6-20 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Calera has already played their next contest, a 55-51 loss against Benjamin Russell on the 5th. Chilton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
