Softball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton lost against West Brunswick back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Clinton Dark Horses lost 17-2 to the West Brunswick Trojans. The Dark Horses have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clinton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoe Morrisey, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Karson Wilson also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Clinton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for West Brunswick, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Clinton is taking a road trip to take on Richlands at 6:00 p.m. on March 14th. As for West Brunswick, they will be playing at home against Laney at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Brunswick is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.8 runs per game this season.
