The matchup between South Oak Cliff and Jefferson on Monday hardly resembled the 1-1 effort from their previous meeting. The South Oak Cliff Bears walked away with a 6-4 victory over the Jefferson Patriots. The score was all tied up 3-3 at the break, but the Bears were the better team in the second half.

Their offense was hitting Jefferson from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Andy Loya led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

South Oak Cliff's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2-3 and their overall record up to 5-4-4. As for Jefferson, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Oak Cliff will face off against Molina at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jefferson, they will be playing at home against Sunset at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th.
