After a string of eight wins, Northview's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 7-2 to the West Covina Bulldogs. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 8-4.

Reina Granados was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Bella Ochoa, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Northview's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6-1. As for West Covina, their record now sits at 7-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northview will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Covina at 3:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for West Covina, they will take on Garey at 3:30 p.m. on the 11th.
