Volleyball Recap: Tabiona Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Tabiona entered their tilt with Wendover on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-8.

Tabiona found their leader in sophomore Bella Gines, who had nine assists and three aces.

Tabiona was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Tabiona's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Wendover, they dropped their record down to 4-22 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Tabiona beat the Wildcats by a score of 3-0 later that day.
