Soccer Game Preview: Culver City vs. Inglewood

The Culver City Centaurs will face off against the Inglewood Sentinels at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Culver City's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Lawndale 3-0. The Centaurs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Inglewood's game on Wednesday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over Hawthorne. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Sentinels as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Inglewood's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Culver City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Everything went Culver City's way against Inglewood in their previous meeting back in December of 2015, as Culver City made off with a 4-1 victory. Does Culver City have another victory up their sleeve, or will Inglewood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
