Greene County Tech is a perfect 10-0 against West Memphis since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles will take on the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Greene County Tech put up the most runs they have all season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Paragould as they made off with a 17-2 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Golden Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Memphis, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over Buffalo Island Central on Monday. With that victory, the Blue Devils brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Hailey Choate was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Margo Killingsworth, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chloe Baker, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.

The win made it two in a row for Greene County Tech and bumps their season record up to 6-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for West Memphis, their record now sits at 3-11.

Greene County Tech got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against West Memphis by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
