Eastern extended their losing streak to four on Monday, dropping their season record down to 3-22 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Clinton Prairie Gophers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gophers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-3 back in April.

Eastern will take on Tri-Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
