Baseball Recap: Cascade Christian Takes a Loss

Cascade Christian fell victim to Bellevue Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Cascade Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Maggart, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Cascade Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Bellevue Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cascade Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Charles Wright at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bellevue Christian will square off against rival Vashon Island at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in the Vikings' favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while the Pirates have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
