Softball Recap: Kimball Union Academy's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

Kimball Union Academy dropped their record down to 6-3 on Monday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Tilton School Rams by a score of 3-1. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Kimball Union Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avy Arias, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

As for Tilton School, the win keeps they at an undefeated 9-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average this season.

On Tilton School's side, Zoe Twarog was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Maddy Andrade, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

While Kimball Union Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
