Lincolnton extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from LJ Smith IV. The Lincolnton Wolves enjoyed a cozy 79-65 win over the West Lincoln Rebels on Monday thanks in part to Smith IV, who dropped a double-double with 42 points and 11 rebounds. The game was his 24th in a row with at least 19 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Robinette, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 18 points in addition to seven assists and six steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why West Lincoln lost, don't look at Mikalister Anderson. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 40 points and 22 boards. That was a full 61.5% of West Lincoln's points, marking the third time in a row Anderson has put up more than a third of the team's points.

Lincolnton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for West Lincoln, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Lincolnton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 84-72 victory against Bandys on the 18th. West Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
