Baseball Recap: Viewpoint Patriots vs. Brentwood School Eagles
Viewpoint extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 15-10. They lost 9-3 to the Brentwood School Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 7-0 defeat on Tuesday.
As for Brentwood School, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.
For Brentwood School's part, Logan Serpa looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Serpa has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Sam Russakoff and Brandon Abrahams did most of the damage at the plate: Russakoff went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Abrahams went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
