Soccer Recap: Incarnate Word Academy Comes Up Short

Incarnate Word Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the MICDS Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against MICDS this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in April.

Incarnate Word Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for MICDS, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Incarnate Word Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for MICDS, they will take on Burroughs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burroughs will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something MICDS surely won't give up without a fight.
