Basketball Game Preview: Douglass Red Devils vs. Coahoma County Red Panthers

The Douglass Red Devils will head out on the road to take on the Coahoma County Red Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Douglass is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Coahoma County on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Douglass took a blow against Coahoma County, falling 38-10. The Red Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 25-0.

Douglass better keep an eye on Caitlin Hall. She was instrumental in Coahoma County's win, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Hall has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more boards the last 42 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Layla Cal, who posted six points and seven rebounds.

Douglass now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Coahoma County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.
