Volleyball Recap: Argos Comes Up Short

Argos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pioneer Panthers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Argos took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-19.

Argos' defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Pioneer, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Argos is set to face off against their familiar foe Triton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pioneer will take on rival Caston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
