Basketball Recap: Arrupe Jesuit Takes a Loss

If Arrupe Jesuit was feeling good fresh off their 49-27 takedown of Rocky Mountain Prep SMART on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Generals were outmatched by the Forge Christian Fury and fell 76-22. The Generals haven't had much luck with the Fury recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Finley Queen had a dynamite game For Forge Christian., dropping a double-double with 26 points and 21 boards. Those 21 rebounds gave Queen a new career-high. Rio Beck was another key player, shooting 50% from the field en route to 13 points along with five boards and four steals.

Arrupe Jesuit's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Forge Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Arrupe Jesuit will take on Clear Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forge Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Coal Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
