Yucca Valley is 9-1 against Coachella Valley since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Yucca Valley Trojans will take on the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Yucca Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Indio to the tune of 74-14 on Tuesday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-7.

Meanwhile, Coachella Valley hadn't done well against Twentynine Palms recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, Coachella Valley made off with a 43-42 win over Twentynine Palms. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mighty Arabs.

Coachella Valley's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.7 points per game. As for Yucca Valley, they moved to 7-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Everything came up roses for Yucca Valley against Coachella Valley when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 66-29 victory. Will Yucca Valley repeat their success, or does Coachella Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
