It was a proper cat-fight when Skidmore-Tynan challenged Belton on Friday. The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats put the hurt on the Belton Tigers with a sharp 48-23 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Despite the loss, Belton saw an underclassman step up: freshman Isabella Warner posted 13 points. That was a full 56.5% of Belton's points, marking the third time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points.

Skidmore-Tynan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Belton, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-13.

Skidmore-Tynan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 38-31 win against Gatesville on the 28th. Belton has also already played their next game, a 38-28 victory against Troy on the 28th.
