Basketball Game Preview: Linden-McKinley Panthers vs. Northland Vikings

The Linden-McKinley Panthers will head out to square off against the Northland Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Linden-McKinley has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight defeats, while Northland will come in with nine straight wins.

On Tuesday, Linden-McKinley ended up a good deal behind Centennial and lost 67-50.

Meanwhile, Northland beat Beechcroft 71-62 on Tuesday. The Vikings pushed the score to 58-38 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars cut but never quite recovered from.

Northland pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Linden-McKinley, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-13.

Things could have been worse for Linden-McKinley, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-43 loss to Northland when the teams last played back in January. Can Linden-McKinley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
