Soccer Recap: Newport Harbor Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Newport Harbor was not quite Pacifica's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Pacifica Mariners by a score of 1-0.

Newport Harbor now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Pacifica, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1-3.

Newport Harbor will be playing in front of their home fans against Edison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Newport Harbor's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. Pacifica and Valley Christian will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
