Grace Lee and Gabbi Patrick secure win for Shenandoah

Recap: Shenandoah Raiders vs. Randolph Southern Rebels

The Shenandoah Raiders's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They managed a 40-35 victory over Randolph Southern. This was payback for Shenandoah, who suffered a 42-37 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Shenandoah was led to victory by Grace Lee and Gabbi Patrick. Lee scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Patrick dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. Lee is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Randolph Southern lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Haileigh Allen, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Melody Black, who scored six points along with four steals.

The victory got Shenandoah back to even at 9-9. As for Randolph Southern, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4.

Shenandoah will head out on the road to challenge Cowan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cowan has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30. As for Randolph Southern, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Blue River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Hopefully Blue River Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Tuesday.
