Baseball Recap: Thursday's Defeat Ends Gann Academy's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Gann Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brimmer & May Gators. The Red Heifers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Gators earlier this season, when they won 17-1.

Ezra Eichler and Adam Farb did some serious damage despite the final result: Eichler went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, while Farb went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Harry Gordon, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Gann Academy's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for Brimmer & May, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Gann Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Boston Trinity Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brimmer & May, they are taking a road trip to face off against Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
