Sunnyslope entered their tilt with Sunrise Mountain on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. While the Vikings didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Despite the defeat, Sunrise Mountain had strong showings from Silas Saenz, who had five digs and two aces, and Logan Nguyen, who had five kills and three digs.

Sunnyslope's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Sunrise Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Sunnyslope didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Greenway on the 4th. As for Sunrise Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Deer Valley on the 4th.
