Softball Recap: East Webster Wolverines vs. Pontotoc Warriors
East Webster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pontotoc Warriors. The Wolverines were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 8-2.
East Webster saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paytan Sanders, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI Sanders has posted since back in February. Kambry Reed also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
