Carter had to endure a 12-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Lincoln Tigers on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cowboys considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Jermiah Castillo was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out ten over 4.1 innings pitched. Castillo was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Carter got a massive performance out of Sean Armster, who scored two runs and stole six bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs Armster has posted since back in February. Pablo Daurte was another key player, scoring a run and stealing five bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Carter's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-13. As for Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Carter will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
