After losing to Notre Dame Academy the last time they met, Ryle decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Raiders walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Layna Wilkinson paced Ryle's offense, picking up eight kills. Wilkinson got some help from Morgan Heater and her 12 assists.

Ryle's record now sits at 7-4. As for Notre Dame Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Ryle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Knoxville Catholic on the 13th. As for Notre Dame Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Frederick Douglass on the 13th.
