Basketball Recap: South San Antonio Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

South San Antonio had lost three straight headed into Tuesday's matchup, but Isaia Hinds didn't let it get to four. The South San Antonio Bobcats snuck past the Harlandale Indians with a 59-55 victory on Tuesday thanks in part to Hinds, who made all 10 shots she took to post 23 points. Those 23 points gave her a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Jewel Alvarez, who posted eight points in addition to six steals and three blocks. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted three or more in the last four games she's played.

South San Antonio's win bumped their record up to 18-16. As for Harlandale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-18.

As of now, neither South San Antonio nor Harlandale have any future games scheduled.
