Chandon Sanderson has led Purnell Swett in stolen bases on the season and he led the team again on Wednesday. Sanderson made a splash, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. He was up against Douglas Byrd and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in April of 2024. Sanderson has become a key player for Purnell Swett: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-7 otherwise.

Coming up, Sanderson and Purnell Swett will head out to square off against Jack Britt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams are 8-2 against the Buccaneers going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
