Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Northwest Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Savannah Martin and Lilly Keifer

Lincoln Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Standing Bear Grizzlies. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Grizzlies when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 25-18, 25-16.

Lincoln Northwest's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lilly Keifer, who had 13 digs and one assist, and Savannah Martin, who had three digs and three aces.

Among those leading the charge was Reese Pedersen, who had eight digs and five aces.

Lincoln Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Standing Bear, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
