Baseball Recap: Mishawaka Marian's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Mishawaka Marian's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Munster Mustangs by a score of 6-3. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Jack Nunley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on five hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Mishawaka Marian is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 6-13 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Mishawaka Marian's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Will Coughlin, who went 1-for-3 with one run.
