Baseball Recap: South Fayette Comes Up Short

South Fayette has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.92 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They lost 11-5 to the Upper St. Clair Panthers. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 11-0.

South Fayette's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Upper St. Clair, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Fayette is set to challenge their familiar foe Trinity at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Upper St. Clair will face off against rival Peters Township at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
