Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Cole Thompson stepped things up a notch to give Henderson County the 'W'. Thompson was unstoppable, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Thompson's strong effort led Henderson County over Webster County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
