            Baseball Recap: Bloomfield Bombers vs. Honeoye Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Bloomfield won against Red Jacket  on Saturday with ten  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Tuesday. The Bombers didn't even let the Honeoye Bulldogs on the board, marking the Bombers' second-straight  10-0 shutout. Give the Bombers' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.
 Braedon Smith and  Morgan McLaughlin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  Smith   pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  McLaughlin   didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over four innings pitched. What's more,  he posted five  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in April. At bat,  Smith  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run, while  McLaughlin  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. Smith also  hit a  double, marking his first of the season.

 In other batting news,  Grady Rogers was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and one  run. Those  three  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Gunner Vogel was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
Bloomfield has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Honeoye, their defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 13-6.
As of now, neither Bloomfield nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
