Xamuel Cerrato put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Thursday. He pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Cerrato and Roosevelt will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hoover at 3:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
