Mount Miguel extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 7-12 in the process. They lost 9-2 to the Santana Sultans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sultans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Tuesday.

Mount Miguel got a good showing from Rene Lopez, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero earned runs gave Lopez a new career-low.

On the hitting side, Mount Miguel saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fonzy Nunez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

As for Santana, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season.
