Owendale-Gagetown entered their tilt with Mayville on Saturday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Owendale-Gagetown's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Mayville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Mayville has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Carsonville-Port Sanilac on the 4th. Hopefully Owendale-Gagetown paid attention to the Wildcats' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
