Brogan Meighen put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out three batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of McGuffey's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is undefeated (and 8-9-1 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Meighen and McGuffey will square off against Shady Side Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Highlanders will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 220 places lower in Pennsylvania), but they're not letting that get them down.
