Basketball Game Preview: Palm Beach Lakes Rams vs. Centennial Eagles

The Palm Beach Lakes Rams will challenge the Centennial Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Palm Beach Lakes is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Palm Beach Lakes ended up a good deal behind Suncoast and lost 64-47. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 409th, while the Chargers are ranked 119th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Centennial, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 61-48 victory over Port St. Lucie on Thursday.

Palm Beach Lakes better keep an eye on Jeremy Felix. He was instrumental in Centennial's win, going 9 of 14 en route to 28 points and five rebounds. Felix's evening made it 14 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Vic Jackson was another key player, putting up ten points and eight boards.

Centennial pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for Palm Beach Lakes, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.
