On Monday, Trinity Oaks Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Non Varsity Opponent, but they still walked away with a 57-51 victory. Trinity Oaks Christian Academy pushed the score to 50-30 by the end of the third, a deficit Non Varsity Opponent cut but never quite recovered from.
Sean M was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with five rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Josh W was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Trinity Oaks Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they dropped their record down to 118-214-1 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Trinity Oaks Christian Academy will play host again and welcome Alden-Hebron, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bard Early College on January 30th.
