Baseball Game Preview: Coppell Cowboys vs. Flower Mound Jaguars

For the second straight game, Coppell will face off against Flower Mound. The Cowboys will welcome the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Coppell 3.3, Flower Mound 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Last Tuesday, Coppell didn't have quite enough to beat Flower Mound and fell 5-3. The Cowboys have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Flower Mound pushed their record up to 18-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Coppell, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.
